How to detect the radiation of electric meters

How to Connect a 3 Phase Energy Meter: Step-by-Step Guide

To detect the radiation of the meter, you can use an electromagnetic radiation detector to measure it. Here are the specific steps:

1. Prepare the electromagnetic radiation detector: Make sure the detector is in good working condition and operate it according to the instructions.

2. Measure the radiation level around the meter: Hold the detector close to the meter, making sure to keep a proper distance. Record the radiation value displayed by the detector.

3. Measure the radiation level at different locations: Measure at various locations around the meter, including the front, side, and back of the meter. Record the radiation value at each location.

4. Analyze the measurement results: Compare the measured radiation value with the relevant standards to determine whether the meter radiation is within the safe range. Generally speaking, it is normal for the radiation value to be at the microwatt level (μW/m²) or lower.

It should be noted that the radiation generated by the meter is usually low-intensity and within the safe range. However, if you have doubts about the measurement results, or find that the radiation value is abnormally high, it is recommended to contact a professional electrician for inspection and repair in time.
